August 30, 2020 Speaker: Scott Slaughter Series: Acts, Continuing the Work of Jesus

Topic: Children, Kids, Evangelism, Gospel, Great Commission Scripture: Acts 4:1–4:37

Under the most amicable circumstances, sharing the gospel can be an intimidating endeavor. But the stress compounds when we must give testimony to the gospel before God’s enemies. Such is the case in this passage. Peter and John, both Apostles of Christ, must speak for Jesus to the very men who not many weeks prior had put Jesus to death.

How did these two, unlearned men perform this daunting task with such eloquence and authority? This is our question this morning? The answer to this question will equip up us to do the same.
