Paul's FOURTH Missionary Journey | Why Acts Has An Unusual Ending
June 6, 2021 Speaker: Pastor Scott Slaughter Series: ACTS, Continuing the Work of Jesus
Topic: God, Sovereignty, Power, Person, Holiness, Love Scripture: Acts 27:1– 28:31
Regarding these last two chapters of Acts, we must admit there has been must scholarly discussion over its purpose and meaning. For instance, why does Luke spend a whole chapter describing a sea voyage just before he closes the entire book? And, Why is the ending so abrupt and seemingly without a proper conclusion or salutation? Or, Why does Luke end on a negative note by condemning the Jews? These and a few more questions have plagued biblical interpreters for centuries.
