Coggins Church is a missional community. We give sacrificially to taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to those worldwide who haven't heard through contributing regularly to the Southern Baptist Convention Cooperative Program. The SBC Cooperative Program enables us to join hands with thousands of churches globally to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord (Matthew 28:19-20).
During the Christmas Holiday, we encourage members to pray fervently and give sacrificially to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.
Our goal is to pray for, give to, and send forth missionaries of the gospel around the world. We partner with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention to send individuals and families around the world, both short-term and long-term, to share the message of Jesus.
Gideons International is the outgrowth of a meeting between two men who wished to unite commercial travelers for evangelism. What began in 1908 as an Association of Christian businessmen placing Bibles in hotel rooms has evolved into an expanding mission to provide Scriptures to all people in nearly every facet of life. Today, we have delivered more than 2 billion Scriptures in more than 95 languages to 200 countries, territories, and possessions across the globe.
We exist as advocates for the lost, bringing them the saving knowledge of the Word through not only placing and distributing Scriptures but also through personal witnessing and by associating together for service. As a united force for the Gospel, we remain rooted in tradition, but we operate under the firm belief that anyone can be a valuable asset to this invaluable cause.
