Preparing for the Mission, Part 2
June 28, 2020 Speaker: Pastor Scott Slaughter Series: ACTS, Continuing the Work of Jesus
Topic: Children, Kids, Evangelism, Gospel, Great Commission Scripture: Acts 1:4–8
We have noted that in Acts we see that the church of Jesus Christ is to be carrying on the evangelistic work of her Savior. This naturally poses the question, How might a little bad of disciples accomplish so great a task? What does the next stage look like? When will the kingdom prophecies of an earthly kingdom be fulfilled? Who is to be reached and how?
As we noted before, the message of the Acts is that Jesus contuses His kingdom work through His church. Today we will see how the infant church begins its preparation for the work of the gospel.
