Jesus has been arrested and taken to the palace of the high priest. While he is questioned, the Spirit turns our attention to Peter. Peter is about to experience a life-changing event but first, he must be confronted with his pride and boasting. Peter must be humbled enough to follow Christ and that usually comes through humiliation. Let’s watch and meditate upon Peter and apply what we learn to our own walk with Christ.
