Corona Virus Announcement

Let’s join together in prayer that our God will mercifully deliver us from the Corona Virus. Pray especially for older citizens and those with low and compromised immunity. Pray for our civic and spiritual leaders to have the wisdom to guide us through this crisis. Pray that we would be delivered from the spirit of fear but to remember the commandments of God to love Him and our neighbor. Pray for our business owners to be able to survive the economic effects of this situation. Pray for our churches and church members to be preserved by the Holy Spirit to continue the work of the gospel and the worship of God. As we move forward, our Church will prayerfully be making ongoing decisions about events, small groups, and services. If things continue in the direction they are now, we will increase our ministry to you and the community through internet avenues. Last Sunday morning we aired our entire Worship Service on Facebook Live. Look for more ministry and updates moving forward through our FACEBOOK PAGE, YOUTUBE CHANNEL, WEBSITE, and EMAILS. We apologize for this inconvenience but it seems that for a time we will have to rely upon these avenues more heavily. Please connect with us on the aforementioned sites so that we may keep you updated. 

New Year, New You!

New Month,

New Year,

New You? Even with your New Year’s Resolutions, did you step across the threshold of midnight into 2019 any different than you had been at the end of December? Did you wake up to a new you?

Only in Christ are we made new. Paul says in his letter to the Corinthians, “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Cor. 5:17. Will this ‘new creation’ see 12-31-2018 from a different perspective?

Even though you may have given your life to Christ many years ago, and not as the ball dropped on 2018 and on your past, God still promises us newness: new hope, new life, new mercies. And we do not have to wait until January 1st each year to accept His gift. Every morning His mercy is new; His compassion for us never fails.

“Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lam. 3:22-23

No matter if you are one to make and keep New Year’s resolutions, make and break them, or just not bother at all, each day is a new opportunity for you to grow in your relationship with your Creator, with your Savior. How will you use the next 365 days of new mercies?

As a body of believers, let’s resolve to start each day in the Word of God and to follow His lead, and allow the newness He has promised.
