Constructing A Christian Home | 3 Essentials

February 16, 2022 Speaker: Pastor Scott Slaughter Series: The Book Of Psalms, Songs & Prayers to the King

Topic: Parenting, Grand-parenting, Family, The Home, Genesis, Psalms, Worldview, Philosophy, Culture, Children, Kids, Evangelism, Gospel, Great Commission Scripture: Psalm 127:1–5

A recent study suggested that the average young family only attends church worship services approximately twice monthly. Parents that diligently cart their children to every activity, whether for pleasure or for skill, but place church attendance, family prayer and Scripture reading, and sharing the gospel as secondary in importance are NOT building a Christ-honoring home. We cannot build families that love Christ without seeking Him. Parents must do it first and then teach their children to do it and, of course, the two best ways to accomplish this is to immerse your children in the life of the church of Christ and to immerse them home in the gospel of Christ. Join Pastor Scott as he expounds the vital truths for the Christian home from Psalm 127.

Have trouble understanding the Bible? Do want someone to explain the Bible in everyday language in a way that you can understand it? Our goal is to help God's people understand His Word.
