Bringing a Compromised Church Back to the Gospel | When is a Church No Longer a Real Church?

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. [17] For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”

Sadly it is true that many churches, so-called, today need to return to God and His Word, and to the power of the true Gospel. Satan and his messengers who occupy their pulpits must be stood up against as James commands us to “resist the Devil and he will flee from you….” For some time now we have been in the midst of a great falling away. We pray that it is not the great falling away. I pray that God will grant those who have strayed away from and compromised the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ will be granted grace and mercy to repent and return to it. But, in the Apostle of Christ’s words, those who pervert and twist the trust of God to the damnation of souls, let them be anathema! 

Beloved let us check ourselves and make sure that we are firmly in the faith of Christ. Let’s us never assume but with humility submit to the authority of His holy Word and trust in His holy gospel for the salvation of our souls.
