The GOD of REVIVAL & REFORMATION - Psalm 85

As Christians, we are tempted to believe the false notion that God’s only concern with us is that He reform us at the time of conversion. But nothing could be farther from the truth. In reality, God is saving us even now. Of yes, we are saved in Christ but God is not finished reforming us into the likeness of His beloved Son. Churches seem to have forgotten that they should be constantly reforming their ministry into closer accordance with the Word of God. God is a God of reformation. Actually, in a fallen world there is no other option. This is why throughout history God has sent revivals and times of awakening to His people - to bring them back to closer conformity with His purposes. Is reformation a regular part of your Christian life and church life? It should be.
