Love that Reflects the Gospel

 Do you love your fellow Christians? Do you, as the Bible states it, “love the brethren?” Every Christian, I am sure, would answer ‘yes’ to that question. But, how do you know? How does our love for other believers show? The Apostle John said, “Let us love not in word only but also indeed.” 

We have a tendency to think that loving our fellow Christian consists of nothing more than thinking fondly of him or her but Scripture teaches us that is loving other believers is less abstract and much more practical. 

Do you believe that there is room in your life for growth in this area? As we study this passage together this morning you may find that there are still areas of your life where you are not showing love for your brother or sister in Christ.
