• Phase 1 A New Invitation to the Community. 

Let’s brighten things up! It’s important that a church campus look welcoming, even inviting. Our campus should be a place that reflects our faith in our Great and Merciful God! For some time we’ve been struggling with whether to purchase a digital sign to go at the front of the Worship Center on Main Street but the cost of digital signage just didn’t make sense. But that still leaves the church with the problem of not being very visible despite having such a high profile location. After praying over the problem the Lord helped us to see ways to address this that we hadn’t considered. 

As a result keep your eyes out for a new church sign, directional signs, aesthetic lighting that accents the architectural features of the building, and all new landscaping! We are excited to finally have God’s leading so that we may move forward with using our facility as a tool to engage our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  

• Phase 2 Room for Parking.

Parking has been a long-term issue for Coggins Church. Our sweet congregation and visitors have made it work the best they knew how. For many years members have prayed for the parking situation to have some resolution. God has finally given us clarity and timing for the church to move ahead on creating a new parking lot. We will be extending our current lot at the back of the church to gain up to 70 more parking spaces. This will allow us the opportunity to rearrange our existing parking to better accommodate visitors, senior adults, and handicap parking while providing space for our members to be able to avoid parking along the street, across Main Street, and around the adjacent metal building. We are excited to be able to direct guests and members to a spacious and clearly designated parking.  

• Phase 3 Revived & Rebooted Nursery & Children’s Classes.

One of God’s greatest callings to the church, parents, and grandparents is to equip the rising generations to love the Lord their God with all their heart, with all their soul, and with all their strength. CHILDREN ARE IMPORTANT. This is our firm belief at Coggins Church. We can’t wait to move forward on revamping our Children’s Ministries! This involves renovating our Nurseries and Children’s Class Rooms. Each room will be painted according to our new theme and receive new floor covering. Sunday and Wednesday Children’s Class will be sharing rooms with the Coggins Church CDC Ministry so that we can centralize our Children’s Ministries to better use our facility to reach Families for Jesus Christ. Not only will it be a beautiful space but it will be functional for ministry, security, and safety.   

• Phase 4 Renovated Worship Center.

God has blessed us with a beautiful Worship Center that certainly aids us in our worship and celebration of our Great King! Over the years this space has served the congregation well. We are grateful to have it. As we plan for the future and the younger families are coming into the church it has become to our attention that it's time for a coat of paint and a few other updating features to equip worship and ministry moving forward. Let me ask each of you a favor, will you join me in praying for the Lord to bless and guide us each step of the way and to be our provision. These are exciting times at Coggins Church! We are turning the page and preparing to pass the baton to rising generations to do Gospel Ministry and Mission as we commanded to do in Deuteronomy 6:1-9.
