Have You Ever SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS? | JESUS is Full of Surprises

What is the most amazing thing you’ve ever witnessed? Some might say some circus acts or movie scene, perhaps a particular musician in concert. Others, more thoughtful, would no doubt recount something deeper like something in nature (Victoria Falls), in the animal kingdom (a Black Jaguar), or from space (the Mars rover feed). Some would look to art, architecture (the Pyramids or Cathedrals of Europe), or literature. Some would recount something much more personal and anecdotal. I would like to suggest to you something much grander, much more enduring, more transformational than all of these combined! The ability to forgive sins and grant someone eternal life! As we move into chapters 2 and 3 the careful student of the Word will notice a change in emphasis. In chapter one we have be witness to the glory of Christ (W. Hendriksen) but in chapters 2 and 3 we will begin to experience our Lord’s interaction with His critics. Consider how in this passage we are witness to the most amazing thing ever seen!
