Has the message of Jesus become routine to you? Are the troubles of this current world crisis causing you great fear? Mark, the writer of one of the blessed Gospels, speaks to you this day. He says go back to the Good News! God has sent His Son to be the Savior! You are witnessing the death of the old world and the glorious birth of the New! These are rapidly becoming dangerous days. Many can easily make the case that our world has moved from concerning to troubling to perilous in just a few decades. When the church finds itself having to travel through fiery trials, it is tempting for us to think that Christians nor the world have ever had to endure similar hardships. But, when we succumb to this kind of fear and self-pity we are wrong.
