WILL the REAL JESUS STAND UP? | Why Didn't the Disciples Recognize Jesus?

Do you see God’s plan to save us from our sins and deliver us from His just judgment through Jesus Christ God’s own Son? Much of the reason the two men could not see that the One for whom they mourned was walking with them, is that they had the wrong belief about God’s plan. They expected the Messiah to come, conquer, and be crowned when God’s sovereign plan had been revealed in Scripture already. That plan was that the Messiah was to suffer for our sins. Having the wrong belief about Jesus continues to be a serious obstacle to the proclamation of the salvation that Jesus purchased. Some believe Jesus came to: make people nice, make people healthy, make people successful, make people rich, make people “to be accepted,” make people loved, or make people themselves.
