Is there a wrong way to learn the Bible, about Jesus and what He did? Actually, there are wrong ways to seek to understand and believe in Jesus as Christ. Besides movies and TV series such as “The Jesus Film” or “The Chosen,” few have actually read the historical, biblical account for themselves. Even among Christians, the percentage of those who regularly read and meditate on Scripture is embarrassingly low. Let’s walk with Jesus Himself through the day that He was crucified as Matthew accounts it for us in chapters 26 and 27 of his account of the gospel.
