God's GRACE, pt.2 How may we receive it?

Grace is God’s unmerited favor given to us, and God’s power working in us through faith in Jesus. Grace is Not Works. Grace is God's unmerited favor. It has always been God's plan for how He would redeem a people for His name. Work-righteousness was never the way of redemption. Jesus, we are told in the New Testament, was 'slain before the foundation of the world.' Salvation by grace through faith is how God's saints have all been saved.

Romans 5:1–2 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. [2] Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (ESV)
