As a follower of Jesus Christ, the Great Commission defines our lives. Following Him gives us purity, purpose, and peace. The Apostle Paul is not rejecting marriage as a God-ordained institution. Celibacy and marriage are gifts to be enjoyed and celebrated. Paul is elevating the service of Jesus and His Great Commission to the forefront of all our relationships.
