Defeating Division in Church Life

Christ is the 'Church's One Foundation.' Church unity is a popular topic. In theory, everyone wants unity. Who wants division and infighting? Books are written on it. Denominational entities hold seminars and conferences. Sermons are preached with passion, laying out our goals and steps through which they may be achieved. “The community’s life before God depends entirely on Jesus’ death on a cross…and the Lord into whose dominion the community has been transferred in baptism is Jesus Christ alone.
