Did Jesus tell His disciples that they are not to judge other Christians? What did He mean? In the Book of James, we are given a divine exposition of Jesus' words spoken during His Sermon on the Mount. Join Pastor Scott as he opens God's Word in the Epistle of James, chapter 4 to explore this subject more closely. I am told that, sometimes, if a chicken is wounded in the coop that the other chickens will begin to peck and peck that chicken until they literally pluck the feathers off of it and finally kill it. Does this sound to you a little like some people in the church? If a fellow believer stumbles or is not in the in-crowd, or is struggling with life’s problems. Sometimes there is nothing wrong with a believer but because they are vulnerable and will not defend themselves, others begin to pick them to pieces. Or should I say, “Peck them to pieces?” If we are not careful, we can become merciless people instead of people showing mercy because they have received it themselves. Have trouble understanding the Bible? Want to know God? Searching for truth? Need someone to explain the Bible so that you can understand it? You've come to the right place! That's what we're all about and we upload at least twice weekly! Our goal is to help God's people understand His Word. Pastor Scott E. Slaughter is our Lead Pastor and a Bible Teacher. God has gifted him to expound the riches of Scripture for the building up of the church.
