We saw at the beginning of this series that the presence of God with man is a major theme throughout Scripture. His blessed presence was lost in the garden because of man’s sin. It was partially and prophetically restored at different times throughout history. Each time it was once again lost because of the sins of God’s people. This continued until God was finished unfolding how He would come to us and be with us; He would be our God and we would be His people.
