Can the young serve God? Can they learn Scripture and doctrine? Do young adults care about pleasing God with their lives? At times the church has perhaps been guilty of righting off teens and college-age adults to “sow their wild oats.” Is this the way Scripture teaches us to think? Does God have anything to say to you adults? If so, what does He want to say to them? Psalm 119:9-16 has a lot to say to young men and women. Not only should young women and men take in these truths but our churches should also meditate on them so that we communicate God’s message to the young people and young families in our covenant community. In this portion of Psalm 119, I see 8 timeless truths for young adults.
