The Great Commission in REAL-TIME | The Word Going Forward!

This important section of the narrative is more or less Luke’s running commentary on the progression of evangelism in this region of Corinth and Ephesus. One might argue that we are given here a general snapshot of what fulfilling the Great Commission of Christ looks like in real-time. In this section, we encounter great travel and inconvenience, new people and places, preparation, teamwork, dependence on the Spirit, correction, discipleship, acceptance, resistance, changes of plan, adaptability, faithfulness to the gospel, and endurance. For the Word of the gospel to go forward all such things are vital.
