Have we done nothing to win these young people? Of course, we have. But what have we typically done? As a general rule we have trim down the preaching time, cut out prayer, minimized doctrine, and all around lowered our expectations of them compared to previous generations. In other words, we made church easy for them. But, this really hasn’t worked has it? Perhaps, the reason it hasn’t worked is because it is all the strategies of men and not the plan of God. Is Church Too Easy? Have We Reduced Expectations to the Point of Insignificance?
