A Recipe For Church Unity

Do you crave position and power? Are you greedy for credit? Are you jealous when someone else in the church sings, teaches, leads, helps, or gets recognition? Recognition, though the right thing for us to give to one another, is the wrong thing to desire from others. Our Lord humbled Himself to the will of the Father and so should we. Whether we live in obscurity or in the gaze of others, we must have the humble mind of Christ, serving not lusting, humbling not grasping, giving not taking. All is ours in Christ and the more we give it away the more we will be given, in this life and in the Kingdom of God.
