"Burning the candle at both ends", "Keep the night oil burning", "the rat race", "dog-eat-dog world", "hustle and bustle", "twenty-four hour a day society or town", "Burn out", "Breakdown", "Break under the pressure".

Do some of these terms sound familiar to you? These are all terms that may or may not apply to you but they are common in our day. They refer either to our society or town, our times, or the way we live our lives and the outcome of it.
