Genesis 48-50 The Blessings of Jacob, the Culmination Patriarchal Age

We have studied the Book of Beginnings. We have witnessed the creation of the world, the animals, mankind, the institution of marriage, the family, work and rest, and the birth of civilization, law, the Jews, and Israel. Now we come to the close of what the late Dr. Harold Wilmington called, “the Patriarchal Stage” of the unfolding of God’s redemptive history. Evangelicals must remember that our faith rests upon Patriarchs, Prophets, and Apostles with Jesus Christ as the Cornerstone.
