John 19:16-37 The Death of Jesus Christ, Pt 3, The Cost of Forgiveness

You may believe in the death of Christ, you may even be a Christian but do you understand what the death of Jesus really meant? Have you ever given special thought to the cost of our forgiveness? At times each of us has made light of our own sins with comments and attitudes such as, “It’s my business.” “It only hurts me.” “What’s the big deal?” Later, we face the guilt and find ourselves asking, “How can get rid of this feeling?” 

The letter to the Colossians says that the key to our faith is the cross of Christ. Consider with me today some of the fundamental elements about the death of Jesus Christ on the cross.
