John 18:33-19:22 The Death of Jesus Christ, Pt 2, The Clash of Kingdoms

Topic: Jesus Christ, Messiah, Salvation Scripture: John 18:33–19:22

Many today would gladly submit themselves to a president, king, ruler, even a dictator if he or she could promise them peace and safety.

Venezuela is the latest movement of the philosophy of communism to seize control and promise equality and prosperity while producing elitism and oppression.

Jesus’ passion is overwhelming to us. When we read it we are taken back at the cruelty he suffered. That being the case, care must be given to see the clash of kingdoms happening before our eyes.

What if I told you that a ruler had come who could save us and we put him to death?
