What is the lesson of the fig tree? Is it right for us to draw spiritual guidance from this passage today? If so, what was Jesus teach us? If so, what may we learn as a local church from the lesson of the fig tree? 

Last year at Homecoming, I shared my vision for Coggins Church entitled, “4, 3, 2, 1, GO!”. God has done great things in one year! As we look forward to the next, we must ask ourselves a serious question, Are we ready to rise to the challenge of the mission that God is giving us? 

  • Are you ready to see Coggins Church move for the Gospel? 
  • Are you ready to follow Christ and His Word to new heights, new growth, and new ministry? 
  • Yes, then are you ready to put the cause of Christ above your personal comforts, preferences, and ambitions? 
  • Then, are you ready to receive answers to your prayers according to God’s will?  
  • Then are you ready to be a part of something people have said couldn’t be done? 
  • Are you ready to see obstacles removed, resources provided, and the gospel be the power of God? 
  • Are you ready to see God begin moving mountains?
