July 25, 2018 Speaker: Pastor Scott Slaughter Series: The Book Of Psalms, Songs & Prayers to the King

Topic: Psalms, Worldview, Philosophy, Culture Scripture: Psalm 18

Does being “saved” in Jesus have everyday implications? Is believing in the God of Scripture simply ascribing to an orthodox statement of faith? Can you say that God has helped you? Do you pray and witness answers to your prayers? Has God delivered you from threatening circumstance, forgiven you of your sins, guided your life, opened up your understanding of the Scriptures, and gifted you to serve Him and His Church?

In the chapter before us, we read David’s personal testimony that throughout His life God has been his Rescuer and will be His Savior on into eternity.
