We invite you to study God's Word with us each week!

Biblical Teaching is a big part of who we are as a Church. God uses His Word and its proclamation to birth and sustain His church. Every believer needs the regular teaching of God's Word.

Blessed is the man ... [whose] delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law, he meditates day and night. [3] He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. ...Psalm 1

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. [17] And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:16–17

The Book of RUTH, Redeeming Love On Display

God has a plan, an eternal plan. Some of His plan is revealed to us in the Bible but a large part of His plan is not revealed. Theologians call this the secret plan of God. What career you or I should follow or whom we should marry is not to be found in the Bible. But the Bible does give us principles for discerning God’s will in these kinds of situations. We will consider this subject later. Meanwhile, there is another aspect of this secret will of God that we must consider and Naomi is a very good example of it, that is, the bitter providence of God. Sometimes terrible things happen to God’s people. At times there seems to be no rhyme or reason why. It is at these times our faith in the control of God and the love of God is severely tested. Indeed, some fall away from the faith when the heat of affliction turns white-hot. Consider Naomi and the bitter providence of God and I believe God will teach you some things for your faith.
