We invite you to study God's Word with us each week!

Biblical Teaching is a big part of who we are as a Church. God uses His Word and its proclamation to birth and sustain His church. Every believer needs the regular teaching of God's Word.

Blessed is the man ... [whose] delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law, he meditates day and night. [3] He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. ...Psalm 1

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. [17] And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:16–17

1 Corinthians, The Cross and Its Community

Many corrections and warnings are coming for these believers at Corinth. With many rebukes comes suspicion of motive. The church at Corinth will question Paul’s motives and practices, but from the outset, he wishes them nothing but grace and peace from God and Christ. His desire is for them to embrace being the holy church of God and to experience the grace and peace that is found in Him. Our Enemy and our old sinful nature will accuse God in our minds in times of correction. Perhaps today you have doubted Christ’s love for you because He has put you into the refining fires of painful experience and rebuking correction. If so, hold on to the knowledge found here, that God’s desire for you is not to harm you but to heal you by his grace after which you will experience His peace in your life.
