Do some of these terms sound familiar to you? These are all terms that may or may not apply to you but they are common in our day. They refer either to our society or town, our times, or the way we live our lives and the outcome of it. If there was ever a place and time in which people need to pay attention to the Biblical teaching on work and rest, it is American in the twenty-first century. We are killing our families, our nation, and ourselves by running at break-neck speed, seven days a week, 365 days a year!
