The Danger of Half Obedience

Does God ever say, “That’s good enough; don’t worry about it?” Or, “Tell ya what, let’s compromise.” As ridiculous as it may seem to suggest such ideas, it is quite common for people to treat God and His Word as if that is exactly what God says. 

The King of Egypt was backed into a corner by the mighty Word of God so he was willing to deal with God. He decided he would meet God halfway. What if we meet God halfway? Will He not accept that? Isn’t that a concession? Shouldn’t God give a little too?
