Isaiah the prophet reminds his readers that those who wait upon the Lord have renewed strength (40:31). Often we miss the point of this statement that there is a difference between those who wait on God and those who do not. To wait upon the Lord is a distinguishing mark of a true believer. We wait on Him because we trust Him above all else.
